Forever

Oh my gosh, it has been FOREVER since I have posted!! I just noticed that I didn't post at all in August...geez! I have been reading everyone elses blogs though, it is my only connection to the outside grown up world! Summer has been busy, but lots of fun. We took Jaxon to his preschool meet & greet today to meet his teacher. He starts on Tuesday and just the thought of him going to school brings tears to my eyes. On top of that he is turning 4 on the 10th. Seriously? Where did the last 4 years go? He isn't a baby anymore, but a big boy (as he often reminds me!)and is such his own little person. He has been a bit of a handful lately, and I think that going to school and having a bit more structure is going to be great for him. I am glad he is excited to go to school, it makes it a little easier on mom. I will do a full update complete with pictures soon when I find 5 minutes that I don't know what to do with. Not sure when that will happen... Til then I hope you all had a great summer and are looking forward to fall as much as I am!

Time For An Update!!

You know it is time to update your blog when your BFF sends you a text message that says "Update your damn blog!" Life is good, just enjoying the summer. Here are a few posts, 11 to be exact, to catch you up on all the excitement we have had in the last month or so. It's ok if you don't read them all, I won't judge you, however I might be a tad heartbroken! :) Enjoy!!

The Toy Fairy

Justin and I have decided that we are going to write a book entitled "Lies You Tell Your Kids to Get Them To Do What You Want". I am pretty sure it will be a bestseller. One chapter would be called The Toy Fairy and it would go something like this. If you want your kids to clean up their toy room, tell them that there is a toy fairy that will come and take whatever toys don't get cleaned up. It works...for now. (Please don't judge our parenting skills...or lack of skills! Whatever works right?)

24th of July

So Justin had to work today, so the boys and I and my parents went to the Spanish Fork parade. It was a lot of fun and they both seemed to have fun. Then we went to lunch and school clothes shopping (am I really old enough to be buying my son school clothes?). It was a fun afternoon for sure!!

Anthony watching the parade

Jaxon at the parade

Twinners

Just a cute picture of the boys in their matching outfits. Jaxon thought it was so cool that he and Anthony had the same shorts on and yellow shirts.

My Picasso

You know when the backyard is a bit too quiet that someone is up to something. This is what it happened to be one day. Jaxon had built a HUGE mud hole and had 'painted' all over himself and the fence. Gotta love having boys!!

His beautiful mud picture on the fence.

He really gets into his work...notice the mud in his hair and all over his clothes!!

What My Boys Do Best

I peeked in the living room and this is what I saw...the both of them glued to morning cartoons!
