I Need Some Ideas

So I know Christmas is a ways away (185 days to be exact) but I am in need of some ideas. I want to give handmade things for Christmas this year, and I have a few ideas in mind, but I am in need of more ideas. If anyone knows of somewhere I can get ideas or has any great ideas themselves, I would really appreciate it!

Just Bragging For A Minute

Ok so I just want to brag a minute about my great deodorant deal. I went to Walmart today and bought 5 Suave deodorants for $1.10. That's it...$1.10 total! They were priced at .97 cents each and I had a .75 cent off coupon for each one, making them .22 cents each! Not too shabby!! Hope you all don't get bored of my coupon posts...just wanting to share the coupon love!

My New Venture In Couponing...

I know, I know...2 posts in one day. But this one is really cool. So I went to a fabulous coupon class in March, have been using her FREE program since then and just last week she e-mailed saying that she was looking for assistants because she can't keep up with the demand of coupon classes that she teaches. So I interviewed thinking I would never get the job because cool things like that don't happen to me...but I did get it!! She called Friday saying that I was hired as one of the assistants!! I am super excited about this!! I love sharing the coupon love, and now I get paid to do it!! (even though I would do it for free) I called Justin to tell him my awesome news and his response was "well now your addiction is paying off". He has been threatening to send me to coupon rehab. I always tell him my great deals and he listens so patiently.

Anyway so if anyone wants me to teach a FREE class I would love to. If you do take a class from me then you get an awesome deal on your subscription to the Daily Herald (she works for the Herald, hence the reason you get the good deal). Let me know if any of you are interested. It could be a group of friends or family, a church group, a work group, whatever you want. Little Boys

This morning Jaxon was playing outside riding his bike. He comes in to find me and tells me he needs to wash his hands. Yeah...he had spider guts on them!!! I asked him where the spider was and so he takes me out on the patio where I see a dead spider (the best kind) smeared on his bike tire and on his hands. I had a total melt down, freaking out because I worry about him playing with the wrong kind of spider. A few weeks ago we found a black widow in the back yard and ever since then I have been extra paranoid. Justin came home to pick up his lunch during my melt down and told me to call a bug sprayer to come spray our yard. So needless to say I have someone coming today to spray my house and yard for bugs.

Race Car Hat

Friday night Jaxon and I decided to wrap Daddy's Father's Day presents. We bought him a Nascar hat as one of his gifts and Jaxon was wearing it while I wrapped the other gifts. So we get the hat wrapped up and hide the gift bag (not that Justin would peek...). So Saturday morning Jaxon gets up and starts saying "race car hat...race car hat". Justin asks me what he is talking about, and I couldn't keep a straight face...so Justin got the hat early. I guess I will have to remember that Jaxon has a good memory, (we are talking an awesome memory, even better than most adults) and not wrap gifts while he is around. Aaahhh...the joy of children!

Nothing New

So I feel like I really don't have anything great to blog about. Life has been pretty low key and normal...knock on wood! My sister and nephews moved here from Texas so we have played with them for about the last week. We have some fun things planned for the summer, parades, fireworks, rodeos, and our 4 year wedding anniversary. Four long, long years...sometimes it feels like we have been married forever. Anyway, Justin is doing well with his job and he is glad that it is warm enough to ride his motorcycle to work. Jaxon is doing well, and as for now has no injuries...that could all change though in a matter of minutes! I am doing well, just living life! Anyway, that about sums it up for now...hopefully some fun posts in the future!
